No more training/riding on the XC Competition Area please. As per normal, please check our calendar on the ‘What’s On’ Tab for normal closures for events.
When closed, NEC members may use Roydvale and ride through. Non NEC members must book and pay via Roydvale. Please also check their grounds are open before arriving.
Make a Booking
Use our online booking system to hire the National Equestrian Centre Christchurch for your next event or show. Note – you DO NOT get an automatic reply. Camping and Motorhomes is just a record of your attendance. Competition bookings/hire enquiries will be processed via email.
Please note that you don’t need to book to casually use the Hobson Horse Coaches Training grounds, just check our calendar “What’s On” Tab to confirm if they are open.

Become a member of the National Equestrian Centre Christchurch. Annual Membership is $240. Benefits include:
- Able to use training grounds all year when not in competition.
- Use of Roydvale Pony Club when grounds are closed.
- Rider membership allows you to ride multiple horses.
- Open yards are free of charge for day trainings.
- No ground fee for clinics and training days.
- Riding on Competition grounds ( dressage arenas) at agreed times.
- Early bird discount on annual membership available in June each year.
- Family membership available.
